My meat grinder attachment hates me. I don’t know what I am doing wrong, but it always gets clogged up and nothing glorious like the above happens. It has ruined my attempts to make turkey stuffing and meatballls in the last couple months. I vote you write a tutorial for me, the one who can’t work her kitchenaid.

We had a problem like that the first time we did it. The problem was the meat. That meat was from Walmart. We get chuck roast (often labelled for pot roast) from grocery stores with a good butcher section. You need to cut off as much of the fat as you can, and especially the connective tissues and silver skin. You may need to play around a bit until you teach yourself what good meat for grinding looks like. It is strangely fun. 🙂

I’ve helped my mom do it for YEARS, but her machine and attachment are a lot older. I have no idea what the problem is, so I’m just going to blame it being plastic 😉
